Does she remember who she was before she was forced into the egg?
If she has any such memories, will they last as she is forced to live her new life?
The woman with the gun seems to be grinning in a rather evil manner at the sight of her.
Perhaps she knew the woman was to become a mermaid, or perhaps she did not and is pleased with the result for another and quite less pleasant reason?
She does remember who she was, but right now, just trying to get her wits.
She will slowly lose her memory of life on land and when she had legs.
I tried to make it more like a smile, but a grin also works.
She had heard, that it would make someone into a mermaid. It was untested, so she kidnapped this girl, to try it out. Who knows, she might join her as a mermaid at some point.
